Writing Challenge
Two Books In One Month?
Dedicated to finally writing her novel Who Killed September Falls? Annette has decided to embark on a writing challenge to outdo all others.
In the first instance, she plans to start, write and complete the whole novel in just one month. The challenge commences on July 1st 2012 and the novel will be edited, proof-read and ready for publication on Amazon on July 31st 2012.
Not content to just commit to writing a novel in a very short time-frame, Annette will be effectively writing a how-to book at the same time which will detail all of the ‘behind the scene’ information – the positives, the challenges and any mistakes made en-route which she hopes will provide great inspiration and a road map for success for all potential novel writers.
‘ I was forever telling my writing students to stop bleating on about a lack of time and how any writer can achieve anything if they put their minds to it. Well, now I’m doing just that. To prove to myself and to all of my writing students (yes finally to put my money where my mouth is) that dedication, commitment and an abundance of time management, will enable me to achieve my mission’.
The book is a murder mystery with a psychological slant:
‘I am really interested in people, how they think, feel and act. I promise that this book will grab at your heart strings whilst making your pulse race.’
It’s a tough enough challenge but Annette will also be bringing her characters to life by making detailed drawings which will be posted to the website as and when they are completed. Check out her video diary too through Facebook, Youtube and on this website.
‘You don’t get anything handed to you on a plate these days and especially in the writing world. It’s going to be hard work juggling my work on the Creative Competitor and completing my freelancing work too but, this is something that I need to do. Wish me luck!’
